Inspection, Testing and Certification

Following the introduction of LOLER, (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998), safety during lifting operations has become a critically important issue for all companies. The regulations aim to reduce risks to people's health and safety from lifting equipment provided for use at work. In addition to the requirements of LOLER, lifting equipment is also subject to the requirements of PUWER, (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998).

Inspection is a crucial part of this legislation and MIM Lifting have the expertise and testing facilities to ensure that our customers lifting equipment meet the requirements under LOLER and PUWER regulations.

MIM Lifting using qualified and LEEA, (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) accredited technicians can inspect, test and certify lifting equipment to meet the requirements of LOLER and PUWER regulations.

MIM Lifting in consultation with the client will design a solution to meet the clients needs and to fully comply not only to the LOLER and PUWER regulations but also The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.
